STUDY OF PHARMACIST SUPPORT FOR PATIENTS WITH PERSISTENT PAIN

APMA is working closely with researchers at The University of Queensland’s School of Pharmacy to support a study of people with persistent pain and their experiences and views of pharmacist counselling. The study aims to explore how pharmacists can assist and contribute to people living with persistent pain, and provide recommendations to the current pharmacist counselling process. A number of focus group sessions will be held in conjunction with APMA pain support group meetings – why not attend one of our meetings and assist the study. For more information or to participate, contact APMA or Shirin Tan on 0423 237 650 or by email shirin.tan@uqconnect.edu.au.
